The championship is held at the Gran Auditórium in the city of Palma de Mallorca (see location on Google Maps) and runs over 2 days of competition: Rookie & Master.
SATURDAY — ROOKIE CATEGORIES
INFANTIL - JUNIOR - YOUTH - ABSOLUTA
SUNDAY — MASTER CATEGORIES
PREMIUM - ALL STYLES - JUNIOR - YOUTH - ABSOLUTA - MEGACREW
In Master, you can take part in the Megacrew category with a group of 20 dancers or more.
Registration
The registration deadline is set once the maximum number of accepted crews is reached.
Reference championships
Participation in championships such as the following is taken as a reference:
HHI, WOD, Body Rock, UDO, Vibes, Urban Display, Urbance, Showbox, I Dance, Hip Hop Kingz.
IMPORTANT: In the Rookie category, if some members have taken part in these championships with high scores, the crew may not have more than 50% of its dancers competing in Rookie.

ROOKIE - SATURDAY
Crews taking their first steps in competition or that, having competed before, do not belong to high-scoring levels.

Number of dancers and age rules
Rules applicable to the make-up of crews and to members outside the age range.

Outside the age range
- 2 dancers outside the age range are accepted.
- 3 dancers outside the age range are accepted for crews of 15 dancers or more.
- Lower ages are not considered outside the range.
Category promotion
Category promotion: crews awarded prizes in the Rookie category (1st, 2nd, 3rd) must take part in Master categories in the following years.
Automatic disqualification: if there are more members than authorised in the Infantil, Junior and/or Youth categories who exceed the age limit, the whole crew will be disqualified from the competition.
Music, timing and stage
Technical conditions for music delivery, choreography duration and stage use.
Championship music
The person responsible for each crew must send the music track in MP3 or WAV format to music@modmallorca.com, indicating:
- Crew name.
- Choreographer's name.
- Category entered: Rookie or Master.
- Example: JAMICREW/ JULIO FRAC / ADULT ROOKIE.MP3
Backup copy
Each crew must bring the music track saved on a USB drive.
The USB drive must contain only the crew's competition music track.

From the first audible sound to the last.
STAGE
- Wooden floor, 10 x 10 m.
- All Styles and Megacrew may use the 3 side wings to enter and exit the stage.
- The white linear square on the stage marks only the lighting and spotlight area. Stepping outside that area is not penalised.
MOD schedule
The times below are not final, but they are the ones planned as of today. They will be confirmed and could see minor adjustments closer to the event.
Saturday — Rookie · 3 July 2027
- Public opening and crew check-in: 3:00 pm.
- Championship start: 3:45 pm.
- Approximate end: 10:30 pm.
Sunday — Master · 4 July 2027
- Public opening and crew check-in: 2:00 pm.
- Championship start: 2:45 pm.
- Approximate end: 11:00 pm.
Jury
The MOD organisation offers competitors a highly diverse panel of national and international judges of great professional standing.
Scoring
Criteria used to evaluate the choreographies.
Scoring system
Each professional choreographer will score out of a total of 40 points, split across four criteria.

Continuity criterion
Jury members will have access to their scores throughout the whole category so that crews are not disadvantaged by their running order, and may adjust their score if they consider it necessary.
Penalties and disqualification
Score deductions, technical infringements and grounds for disqualification.

Disqualification: if there are more members than authorised in Infantil, Junior and/or Youth who exceed the age limit, the crew will be automatically disqualified.
Not penalised
Leaving the performance and lighting area marked on the stage with white lines is not subject to penalty.
Registration, accreditation and liability
Economic conditions, accreditation of team leaders and acceptance of the rules.
Team leader
Only 1 team leader per crew is admitted for registration purposes.
The original ID document of the team leader must be presented in order to be accredited.
Choreographer
Registration FREE (limited to 1 choreographer per crew).
Dancer — price per competitor
- 1 category: €20
- 2 categories: €30
- 3 categories: €50
Authorisations & rules

Es importante que cada bailarín sepa que la inscripción y participación en el MOD implica que la persona participante autoriza expresamente a la Organización ADUB, así como a las empresas, profesionales, medios de comunicación y colaboradores autorizados por ésta, a captar, grabar, reproducir y utilizar su imagen, voz, nombre y actuación artística durante el desarrollo del evento.
Esta autorización comprende, entre otros, la realización y difusión de fotografías, vídeos, grabaciones audiovisuales y emisiones en directo (Live/streaming), así como su utilización en:
- las retransmisiones y emisiones en directo del concurso;
- programas de televisión y/o contenidos audiovisuales relacionados con el evento;
- páginas web y plataformas digitales de la Organización;
- redes sociales y canales oficiales del evento y de la Organización;
- fotografías, vídeos, resúmenes, piezas promocionales y materiales publicitarios;
- comunicaciones, notas de prensa, cartelería y publicaciones destinadas a informar, promocionar o difundir el concurso y futuras ediciones.
La autorización se concede de forma gratuita, sin que la persona participante tenga derecho a percibir remuneración, compensación o indemnización por la captación, reproducción, edición o difusión de dichas imágenes, grabaciones o actuaciones, siempre que su utilización se encuentre relacionada con el concurso, su promoción, difusión, documentación o comunicación.
ADUB podrá realizar las adaptaciones técnicas, de formato, duración, montaje, edición o reproducción que resulten necesarias para los distintos medios y soportes, siempre que no se utilice la imagen de la persona participante de forma que pueda resultar contraria a su honor, intimidad, dignidad o reputación.
El participante debe ser informado de que la difusión a través de Internet y redes sociales puede implicar que las imágenes sean accesibles desde terceros países y que puedan ser compartidas por usuarios ajenos a la Organización.
Asimismo, la persona responsable de los grupos debe disponer de las autorizaciones necesarias de sus integrantes firmadas, para la captación y utilización de su imagen y voz en los términos establecidos en esta cláusula.
La autorización para el tratamiento de la imagen y voz se entiende otorgada mediante la aceptación expresa de estas condiciones en el proceso de inscripción, sin perjuicio de los derechos que correspondan a la persona interesada conforme a la normativa aplicable en materia de protección de datos y derecho a la propia imagen.
PARTICIPATION IN THE MOD WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE without each participant's signed authorisation.
Acceptance of the rules
Participants accept all the rules of the MOD championship regulations.
A dance-specialised physiotherapist is present backstage throughout the event.
Prizes
Prizes by category, special prizes and award conditions.
Award ceremony
At the award ceremony, the top 5 highest-scoring crews in their category will go up on stage.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Master of the Masters
Prize for the best score between Absoluta Master and Megacrew.
Prize: special MOD trophy + cash prize (amount to be confirmed).
Audience favourite
Prize decided by the vote of the auditorium audience and the live streaming audience.
This also includes the Audience Prize — Premium Category, combining in-person and streaming audiences.

Lost property
The lost-property box for items lost during the event will be located at the advance-ticket entrance.
Use of funds
All money received from tickets and registrations is treated as a donation or contribution towards the cash prizes awarded and to cover the event's expenses.
